Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Oredo, Edo. You will work at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. ₦245,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
