Sheet metal press operator — Martin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Martin County, Indiana. You will work at a white goods manufacturing plant. On a typical shift you will feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
