Gardener — Baldwin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gardener in Baldwin County, Alabama. You will be based at a plant nursery. On the job you will handle: • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings What we are looking for: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting We offer $200 per day plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
