Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Baxter County, Arkansas. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Your main tasks: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
