Join our team: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Edgefield County, South Carolina. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. Day-to-day duties: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Write and edit G-code programs at the control Ideal candidate: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls 2+ years on the tools preferred.
