We are recruiting: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Lumpkin County, Georgia. Day to day you will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
