The role involves: • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches Requirements: • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Awareness of workshop health and safety Six days a week, one day off.
