Brickwork mason — Thomas County

Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Thomas County, Kansas. You will work on a busy housing site. Your main tasks: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
