We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Ikere, Ekiti State. Day to day you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
