Semi-automatic welder — Floyd County

Now hiring: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Floyd County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently We offer $23 per hour plus benefits.
