Great opportunity: we are hiring a retail butcher in Platte County, Wyoming. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate The role involves: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
