Head baker wanted in Arapahoe County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a head baker in Arapahoe County, Colorado. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. On a typical shift you will weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • 2+ years' experience as a baker Part-time with flexible hours. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
