GMAW welder — Lyon County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Lyon County, Kentucky. You will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
