Cnc lathe operator — Grundy County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Grundy County, Illinois. You will work at an auto-components manufacturing unit. On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code 3+ years on the tools preferred.
