Pressman — Knox County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pressman in Knox County, Nebraska. You will work in a busy laundry. You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Your main tasks: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
