Visual inspection operator wanted in Lake County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Lake County, Illinois. You should have: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor Day to day you will segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
