Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Braxton County, West Virginia. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
