Concrete worker • Rano, Kano State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete worker in Rano, Kano State. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage On a typical shift you will compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
