Now hiring: we are hiring a site dozer operator in Menard County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) You will refuel the machine and record running hours; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience.
