Nursery worker — Richmond County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a nursery worker in Richmond County, Virginia. The job is on a golf course. Your main tasks: • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste Ideal candidate: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage 6+ years on the tools preferred. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
