Steel erection rigger — Kudan

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Kudan, Kaduna State. You will be based at a power plant. Your main tasks: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Full-time, day shift.
