Die-casting operator — Steuben County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Steuben County, Indiana. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards The role involves: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $120 per day plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
