Baker wanted in Geary County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a baker in Geary County, Kansas. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. On a typical shift you will load and unload the deck oven with a peel; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving 2+ years on the tools preferred.
