Join our team: restaurant steward (Benue State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a restaurant steward in Makurdi Local Government Area, Benue State. You will be based in a quick-service restaurant. Day-to-day duties: • Clear and reset tables between covers • Explain the day's specials and recommend dishes • Carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table • Take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad • Raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments • Greet guests, seat them and present the menu Ideal candidate: • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Ability to carry loaded trays and stay on your feet for long shifts • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
