Trailer driver wanted in Carroll County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trailer driver in Carroll County, Illinois. You will work at a busy distribution depot. Day to day you will reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load. What we are looking for: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel 2+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
