Excavator operator — Seward County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an excavator operator in Seward County, Kansas. The job is on a busy civils and groundworks site. You should have: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs The role involves: • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
