Foundry operative — Hancock County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry operative in Hancock County, West Virginia. Day to day you will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection We offer $5,500 per project plus benefits.
