The role involves: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line 3+ years on the tools preferred.
