On a typical shift you will ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
