Join our team: we are hiring a confectioner in Twiggs County, Georgia. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. Your main tasks: • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
