Immediate opening: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Franklin County, Idaho. Day to day you will raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Rotating shifts.
