Rigger • Henderson County, Kentucky

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Henderson County, Kentucky. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Your main tasks: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
