You should have: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes Day-to-day duties: • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling Six days a week, one day off.
