Milling machine operator — Miller County

Join our team: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Miller County, Missouri. The job is in a toolroom. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T The role involves: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
