Argon welder — Chugach Census Area

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Chugach Census Area, Alaska. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Day to day you will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints.
