Sample machinist wanted in Appomattox County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Appomattox County, Virginia. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance The role involves: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience.
