Now hiring: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Southern Ijaw, Bayelsa State. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces On a typical shift you will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance.
