We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Lawrence County, Indiana. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork The role involves: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured 5+ years on the tools preferred.
