You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Day-to-day duties: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Part-time with flexible hours.
