Trailer driver — Teller County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trailer driver in Teller County, Colorado. You will work at a haulage company. Requirements: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules On a typical shift you will keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays.
