Now hiring: we are hiring a car painter in Coryell County, Texas. Day to day you will apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
