Gas pipeline fitter — Sumaila

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Sumaila, Kano State. You should have: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Your main tasks: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser Full-time, day shift.
