Abattoir worker — Wyoming County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Wyoming County, Pennsylvania. You will trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. Requirements: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift.
