Rigger — Johnson County

Join our team: we are hiring a rigger in Johnson County, Kansas. You will work at a power plant. Your main tasks: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
