Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Cherokee County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Good attention to detail and steady hands Day-to-day duties: • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper Overtime paid at a premium rate.
