Fusing press operator wanted in Grafton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Grafton County, New Hampshire. Your main tasks: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Give each garment a final press before packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
