Lift maintenance fitter — York County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in York County, Maine. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Your main tasks: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments You should have: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
