Ironing operator wanted in Lee County

Join our team: we are hiring an ironing operator in Lee County, Georgia. You will be based in a busy laundry. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work On a typical shift you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; give each garment a final press before packing; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $220 per day plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
