Single needle operator wanted in Candler County

Join our team: we are hiring a single needle operator in Candler County, Georgia. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Your main tasks: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
