We are recruiting: we are hiring a CNC machine operator in Effingham County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery 3+ years on the tools preferred.
